Kim Jong Eun, youngest son of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il, underwent six plastic surgeries between 2007 and 2010 in order to look more like his father and grandfather, Kim Il Sung, according to a report release July 7 by South Korea's Yonhap news agency.

Rumors were sparked about the procedures last spring when Eun - who's either 28 or 29; the government releases little personal information on its ruling family - was seen in public with facial changes that created a stronger resemblance to his father, the current ruler, and his grandfather, the nation's founder.

The changes were unveiled In September, shortly before Kim Jong Il named Eun the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party. The South Korean newspaper JoongAng Daily reported June 29 that this appointment was believed to be Pyongyang's first official move to place Eun next in succession for the throne.
