Breast Aug Drug BustNeighbors grew suspicious of Julie Coyne and Greg Kelly, both 39, a couple who claimed to be living on benefits, when they were able to afford a breast augmentation for Coyne, London's Daily Mail reported on July 18th.

Acting on a tip, police officers raided the couple's home in Lobley Hill, Gateshead, England, and found 30,000 pounds (about 48,065 USD) worth of cocaine as well as receipts for cosmetic surgery and teeth-whitening, wads of cash, a stash of Rolex watches and boxing memorabilia - including expensive replica championship belts.

Coyne and Kelly were arrested alongside co-conspirator Brian Hall, 50, who lives down the street. At Newcastle Crown Court, Kelly was to 2 1/2 years in jail while Hall was given 3 1/2 years. Coyne was given a six-month community order and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.

Gateshead Housing Company, which owns the house where Coyne and Kelly resided, has confirmed legal proceedings have been started against the couple, The Sunday Sun reported on July 17.

Neighbors expressed relief about the couple leaving. "I think the whole thing is disgraceful," said one elderly neighbor. "I think all of them should have been locked up for much longer than they got. If she's used ill-gotten gains to pay for plastic surgery then that's just disgusting."

She then added, "I'm very pleased to hear they could be facing eviction. No one wants drugs and that sort of trouble where we live."
